Just troubleshooted some problem with the ip cameras. It seem that someone had changed the password of the wifi and locked out the router password. Good thing when you always have physical access to the device is you can always reset. Had some problem with resetting the device. Maybe pressed the button the wrong way or so. So after resetting, I changed the SSID and password and hide the SSID boardcasting. Well the device default password was 12345678 I guess it’s too easy a password for people to guess so its a bit weird they would choose such a password instead of an random string since they took the liberty of printing that on the wifi device. This teaches that there are always people doing such things so it’s good to not use the default password especially if it similar for all devices cause people tend to do funny things when they can get into your system.
