I know that the government has been trying to build the next generation erp for quite some time now. Frankly I think ERP to control traffic on the road is a load of bull. Originally, ERP was only set in the CBD (Central Business District), it was a sticker for which can be used for the day. Then they told us, ERP would be cheaper, that is at the start. Now it’s all over the place, on the expressways when people are travelling home from the CBD they also need to pay. Next they are going to try distance based charging.

They will implement distance based charging based on the article below. Prices will be unchanged at first it says but likely they are going to increase the price
