Why you cannot avoid politics is because they make rules that interfere with your everyday life. That is why I believe in the libertarian view and that the smallest minority is the individual. Just because I don’t like means that you cannot love and enjoy it like alcohol. Just because I don’t like alcohol doesn’t mean I appose everyone drinking it. So I think as long as it doesn’t harm me they are free to do what they want to. A free market. Willing buyer and willing seller. I believe government should butt out and let people live their lives to the fullest as long as they are not harming anyone. They should not be in wealth redistribution. The problem with democracy is 51% of the people will always vote to take away the rights of 49% of the people.
This is one quote i got from the internet
You cannot avoid the interplay of politics within an orthodox religion. The power struggle permeates the training, education and disciplining of the orthodox community. Because of this pressure, the leaders of such a community inevitably much face that ultimate internal question: to succumb to complete opportunism as the price of maintaining their rule, or risk sacrificing themselves for the sake of the orthodox ethic.
