Because now we are currently running Infinilogy on esxi(vmware) and we are using wd red hdds in the configuration while they provided a bigger storage but no means they are fast. I would make sense to put in a rack mount ssd nas to add to the storage pool of the vmware so that software requiring such ipos would have access to them.
