Some introductions about wireless@SG. It is a free wifi hotspot that you can find in many places. MRT. Fast food restaurants (KFC, Macdonalds, etc). It is helpful if you have a low data cap and it’s free why not use it. Oh I forgot to mention that on singtel website there is an option to pay to upgrade your speed.

Since I had some time and was just chilling out in a KFC restaurant. I finally got back to finishing up my Wireless@SG account. I am using a Singtel number so this is how I fixed up my Wireless@SG account.

Step 1

Call *9434

Then you will receive an SMS.

1. For Free Singtel Wireless@SG account activation or

2. For resetting your Wireless@SG or IDEAS password

Step 2

It will send you a temp password. You should change this as you most probably will forget the password.

Reply SMS with 3 (set preferred password)

You will receive an SMS for you to send your preferred password to them. Key in your preferred password and send. Then they will send another SMS to confirm the password. Key in your password again and send. Then you are done and you can login to Wireless@SG with your password.
